Rachel Peck is the Executive Director of 431 Ministries. She and her husband, Justin, originally founded 431 after the Lord opened their eyes to the need for women's crisis support in the community. An engaging speaker and passionate advocate for those walking through hardship, she enjoys reading and writing in her free time, and is also a proud mother of two little girls. When she's not working or spending time with her family, Rachel can often be found tending to their family farm or experiencing the Lord through a variety of artistic projects.

Robyn’s story with 431 Ministries could be summed up with “needed it, got it, gives it.” When she got pregnant at 17, the Lord surrounded her with the community she needed to raise her children. Her story has not been an easy one, but she has been chased down by the love of Christ over and over again. She is passionate about leading others to the same community and love that she received. She and her family live in Spring Hill, TN.

Meet our Board of Directors

Justin and Rachel Peck
Founders and Board President

It all started with a prayer, “Break our hearts for what breaks yours.” And as Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” A kitchen became the training ground, a living room a church. Discipleship was done over the phone, while running errands, and side-by-side while doing farm chores.

The women that showed up came from a variety of backgrounds. Domestic abuse. Drug addictions. Poor life decisions that led to hurtful consequences. But God showed up. And as hearts believed, lives were changed. In 2020, Rachel transitioned into the role of Executive Director to continue growing the ministry.

Justin and Rachel have been married for 10 years and have two young daughters.

Janie Burnett - Secretary of the Board

Janie was married for 40 years to Randy Burnett, who pastored 38 years of that time. Following his death in 2012, God prompted her to lead a women’s life group for singles, divorcees and widows. But now, the group encompasses women from all walks of life regardless of marital status.

Janie has a heart to love and serve women who need to know how much God sees, knows and loves them.

Janie has served on the Board of Directors since December 2020.

Sherry Chester - Board Member

Sherry is a native tall Texan, who has a M. S from Texas A&M in Commerce and a M.A. from Life Christian University. Raised by a loving single mom, she has walked through being a single momma, a divorcee, and a widow. Through it all, Sherry recognizes the goodness of God and His unrelenting faithfulness.

Sherry is the founder of Women in Leadership and a published author, speaker, and mentor. Her passion is to help equip people to do the work of the ministry at church, in the workplace, and throughout any community on any continent. Her love of missions in third world countries causes her to embrace people as she desires for everyone to know and experience Jesus personally.

Sherry has served on the Board of Directors since April 2021.

Donna Parker - Board Member

Donna is a full time single mama living in the heart of Tennessee who runs on coffee and Jesus. She stays busy, working in the beauty industry and owning a local paleo bakery.

With a background in direct sales and decades of management experience, she passionately advocates for the single mother’s place in the local church. Donna has a heart to share her journey and her deep love for Jesus, and how He saved her during the hardest walk of her life.

Donna has served on the Board of Directors since March 2023.

Josh and Kim Kolstad - Board Members

Josh and Kim have always had a strong desire to serve the local church, youth, and their community. This is motivated by a desire for all to experience God’s love and protection, even in the midst of difficulty.

Josh has served in law enforcement for the past 23 years and teaches parenting classes at the county jail. Kim was a junior high teacher and girls’ basketball coach and served on the leadership team of her county’s foster support group, with an emphasis on advocating for children with special needs. Together, they are actively involved in the foster and adoption community, having fostered children for twelve years and adopted three.

Being involved in the foster community strengthened their aspirations to advocate not only the children affected by crisis, but also their parents and caretakers.  This brought them to serve at 431 Ministries, where they could point those coming out of crisis to the One who perfectly knows, sees, and loves each of us.

Josh and Kim Kolstad have been married for 22 years and have four children.

Josh and Kim Kolstad have served on the Board of Directors since July 2023.
