It Only Takes One
by Rachel Peck, Founder and Executive Director
I’ve told our story more than 1000 times and it never gets old. The way that God answered the simple prayers that Justin and I prayed. The way that all the doors closed when we thought we were going in the right direction. The way that He completely turned our lives upside down over and over.
As I was reflecting back on the hundreds of moments that God orchestrated to lead us to do the work He needed us to do, I realized how many of them were “ONE’S.” One couple, one group, one person, one church, one business at a time who said “YES.” And all of those “yeses” built up into something incredibly special. The “yeses” became historical moments of a ministry who has seen a God who still cares for women, working on the front lines of His ministry.
This holiday season, we wanted to highlight just a few of the many “ONEs” who said yes. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, more of these that we didn’t get to share, and every single one has been pivotal to make a difference.
Thank you for being part of the story of 431 Ministries this year. May these ones who said yes inspire and encourage you as much as they do me.
